Window cleaning is one of the most hated household chores. Many people avoid this activity like hell and put it off as long as possible. However, there comes a time when it has to be done. Today we give you three tips on how to clean windows without streaks.
When you start cleaning your windows, make sure you have the right equipment. To clean windows thoroughly and leave no streaks, use microfiber cloths dedicated to cleaning windows. They are soft and thoroughly collect dirt from the cleaned surface and in addition, you do not need to use any additional detergent. And for additional polishing you can use old nylon tights – after this procedure there will be no more streaks.
You can add a little glycerine or fabric softener to the water. It will make it harder for dirt to settle on the windows, and when it rains, there will be far fewer streaks.
If you want to be more eco-friendly and get great results at the same time, polish your windows with old newspapers. Remember to choose relatively “soft” ones so you don’t scratch the surface. This is using what you already have at home, without having to buy paper towels or toilet paper, which can leave little lint.
