Baking soda and vinegar

This combination of ingredients will help unclog your pipes and also get rid of unpleasant odors. Put a glass of baking soda down the drain and pour in a glass of vinegar. Remember not to bend over the sink, because the pipe will emit fumes that can irritate your eyes. After about 10 minutes, pour hot water over the sink.

Baking soda and salt

An equally effective way is to mix half a cup of baking soda with half a cup of salt. Pour the mixture down the drain and run hot water over it. This treatment should unclog the pipes.

Citric acid

Another way is to use citric acid. Dissolve two bags of citric acid in a glass of warm water and wait for about 10 minutes. Then pour the prepared concoction down the drain. Citric acid will also help remove unpleasant odors.

Aspirin

Clogged pipes can be unclogged with aspirin. Take two aspirin tablets and pour a glass of vinegar down the drain. Don’t be alarmed if this combination bubbles and foams profusely. After a few minutes, run warm water over the sink.
